How do you get a job waiting tables?

I need a part time job in the evening and I was thinking of waiting tables... Problem is, most places want you to have experience. How do you get that experience if every single restaurant wants experience?! It's frustrating! I'm a hard worker and a quick learner... I've worked in a restaurant before but not waiting tables... Any tips?

The biggest thing I looked for when I was managing restaurants were those who had great people skills, that is not something you can teach someone. I can teach anyone how to hold a tray, how to present a dish, how to place items on a table etc... Go apply at a small family restaurant somewhere where the pace is slower to start with, so you can learn the job, then you will be able to apply at the better restaurants and make better money. You might try OG aka Olive Garden, unless they changed their hiring practices they would train new people. Don't give up, there are restaurants out there that would rather hire a newbie, so they can teach them how they want their customers served.

Hope this helps

What you're actually not getting although is that there is no longer something greater degrading than prostitution no rely how lots they make. they're nonetheless merchandising their bodies and persons are utilizing them mutually as on the different hand people who make minimum salary are in simple terms attempting to help themselves. Prostitution isn't relaxing, this is painful.
