For 6 months I was a fully time nanny and the last 6 months part time while I was working at 7-Eleven as a sales associate. I also worked a year as a prep cook and a receptionist at a spa for about 5 months.

It seems every hiring add for waitresses requires experience so any tips from current/former waitresses on how to up my chances on getting hired even with no experience in that field?

Thank you!!!

Sit at the restaurant and pay attention to how the wait staff operates. Then go home and practice.

When you apply for a job offer to train without salary for 1 week. this should get your in the door.

You can also ask to be considered busing tables and use that for learning and gaining experience

Just be yourself..smile and don't be shy or quiet at the interview.
