is this a good cover letter for a server job?

To whom it may concern:
I'm writing you out of interest in a server position at your T Phillips location. I'm looking for long term employment in the food service industry and I'm very excited about the opportunity to work at your restaurant.
I am confident that I can suceed as a server, and be a valuable member of your team. My experience in a retail setting has taught me much about customer service and I am confident that I can carry that over into the food service industry.
After reviewing my resume, I hope you will find that I have many valuable skills. I feel my biggest strength is my willingness to work hard, as part of a team, to serve customers in a satisfactory manner.
I look forward to the opportunity to use my customer service skills at your restaurant and also to improve within my position. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you.

It sounds good to me. The only change I might make is to change the word SATISFACTORY to EXCELLENT.
